Awareness   

Consumer education aims making the consumer aware of his rights and the ways to claim them; namely,  these rights are:

1 - The right to safety.
2 - The right to choose.
3 - The right to listen to you.
4 - The right to learn.
5 – The right to be aware.
6 - The right to be compensated.
7 - The right to a healthy environment.
8 - The right to basic needs.

The following are among the awareness education followed by the Department of Consumer Protection:
1 - Guidance: Offering awareness to the consumer through following the right methods for choosing, using or consuming goods.
 
2 - Warning: This style is used to warn against immediate and direct risks of goods, food products and services as well as to protect consumers from all types of fraud, counterfeiting and deception.

3 – Education: where consumers are helped in their purchase, search for and use of goods through the establishment of symposiums, lectures or educational sessions in order to rationalize consumption and use.
