The Council of Ministers Decision No 17 of 2014 empowers the Department of Antidumping to exercise the following competences:

  • Implementing Laws and Regulations regarding antidumping, countervailing measures and safeguards.
  • Receiving and examining trade Remedies complaints.
  • Following​ up the application of all provisional and final antidumping, countervailing and safeguards measures.
  • Collecting and providing all the data pertaining to antidumping, countervailing and safeguards complaints.
  • Safeguarding the interest of infant industries.
  •  Carrying out any other task relate​d to trade remedy measures.​​
